WSCF recognised for its commitment to local communities

We are delighted to have received the Commitment to the Community Award at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.

The award celebrates organisations that make a lasting difference to the communities they serve and recognises our long-standing commitment to connecting people who care with causes that matter across Wiltshire and Swindon.

For more than 50 years, we have brought together generous people, businesses, public sector partners and voluntary organisations to help direct funding where it is needed most. By listening to local communities and connecting funding, knowledge and expertise with the organisations best placed to make a difference, we help local solutions to grow and create stronger, fairer and more resilient communities.

This award reflects the collective efforts of everyone who makes this work possible – our donors, fundholders, partners, volunteers, trustees and the hundreds of charities and community groups working every day to support people and strengthen communities across Wiltshire and Swindon.

Receiving this award following the conclusion of our 50th anniversary year makes the recognition particularly meaningful. Since 1975, we have worked to connect people who care with causes that matter, responding to changing local needs and supporting the organisations making a real difference in our communities.

We would like to thank everyone who has supported our work over the past five decades. This award belongs to everyone who helps make our communities stronger, fairer and more resilient.
