Vocational Training

Grants of up to £1,000

This programme is open to young people aged between 14 and 24 (at the time of when applications are considered) to support the costs of vocational training for courses at school, college or sixth form or for training through an apprenticeship. 

Applicants must have lived in Wiltshire or Swindon for the last two years and either they or their parents/carers must be in receipt of means tested benefits.

SWEF Start-Up Grants

Grants of £500

Grants of up to £500 

SWEF Start-Up grants are for individuals aged between 18-30 who are in the early stages of setting up their business, or whose business has been trading for less than 2 years and currently earning less than £500 per month. 

This grant provides up to £500 to cover essential costs as you turn your business idea into reality.

SWEF Business Grants

Grants of £2,000

Grants of up to £2,000 

SWEF Business grants are for individuals aged between 18-30 whose business has been trading for at least 6 months but less than 2 years and/or has been generating monthly revenue of at least £500 for 3 consecutive months.

You can apply for up to £2,000 to support growth and development of your business.

University Bursary

Grants of £1,900

This programme is open to young people living in Wiltshire and Swindon who are under 25 to support the costs of studying their first undergraduate degree course at a UK university. 

Applicants or their parents/carers must be in receipt of means tested benefits.

This programme is currently closed for applications. You can register your interest for the 2027/28 academic year.
