16 April 2010 : The Community Foundation Demonstrates Quality

Our quality accreditation standard is developed specifically for Community Foundations by CFN and is recognised by the Charity Commission.  Having had quality accreditation since 2006, Wiltshire and Swindon are no strangers to delvering a quality service to thier groups, donors and stakeholders.  When a revised standard was put out for consultation, Wiltshire and Swindon decided to be part of an pilot programme to see how the new standard would work.  Only two foundations out of 58 nationally took part in the pilot, Wiltshire and Scotland, both passed with flying colours.  We have been told our certificate is in the post!

Record number of grants made during 2009/2010

Our final calculations for our end of year accounts have shown that we distributed £913,000 in grants to 255 groups during 2009/2010.
