What we won't fund

  • Groups that have more than 12 months running costs in unrestricted (free) reserves
  • Projects operating outside the County of Wiltshire / Borough of Swindon
  • Organisations delivering services in Wiltshire or Swindon who do not have a local management structure
  • Community Interest Companies (CIC's) unless for start up costs
  • Local Authority institutions, inlcuding Schools/Pre-schools
  • Sponsored events
  • General large appeals
  • The advancement of religion
  • Medical research and equipment
  • Animal wellfare
  • Party political activities

What we might fund

  • Continuation Funding
  • Major capital building projects will only be supported where a grant from the Community Foundation will make a real difference, for example in the disabled access
