To create a culture of giving that will enable funding of local voluntary organisatons and community groups, and strengthen communities in Wiltshire and Swindon.

Our Mission

The Community Foundation for Wiltshire & Swindon will help to build stronger communities by encouraging local giving. We will offer a cost-effective way for donors to make a long-term difference to the causes close to their hearts. Through our understanding of local issues, the Community Foundation will make perceptive and well-targeted grants that make a genuine difference to the lives of local people, and use our skills and knowledge to support local community groups with

Community Foundation Grants in 2006/2007

Community Foundation Grants in 2006/2007

In the year ending March 2007 the Community Foundation awarded grants totalling £723,000, to 238 projects across the county. The grants, awarded from our donors’ endowment funds and from the grants programmes we manage on behalf of other, third-party donors, ranged from £41 to £10,000.
